It would be nice to see more printers and all in one units that offer NC-2100P and NC-2200W options like the Brother MFC-8440, meaning, though Ethernet and Wireless are not included in the unit, you at least have the option of upgrading. Then again, the external Ethernet cards are so costly you're really better off just buying a unit designed for networking if your demands require it. Either way, the option is there with the MFC-8440, and, with a full range of high end capabilities, the unit can serve as a great assistance to your small office with or without a network.

Thanks to the flatbed design you can even scan pages from a book.
Black and white copying can be done stand alone or with a PC, and includes helpful options accessible through the built in LCD screen such as enlargement and reduction ratios of 25 % through 400 %, which means you can use the 2 in 1 or 4 in 1 options to squeeze up to four pages onto one.
